Have you heard the news? The Attorney General has officially provided an opinion on the interaction between the Texas Insurance Code and Federal law when it comes to Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangements (QSEHRAs).
HAHU would like to invite you to attend our upcoming luncheon and 1-hour CE “What every TAHU Member should know about QSEHRAs” (Provider #32408, Course #110029).
During this meeting, TAHU’s Jessica Watts, Director of State Legislative Affairs, will discuss this recent development and what else should be considered when considering this new design.
About Jessica:

HAHU’s Vanguard Council invites you for an evening of axe throwing! We will first get trained by an axe throwing expert, who will show us how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy, while giving tips on how to capture the bullseye! After training, we will be given one hour of free time to perfect our own axe-throwing skills. This “axe-citing” event will take place at Houston Axe on Tuesday, May 22nd, 5:00-7:00pm. Registration for members is $15 and non-members is $25. Please arrive on time, as they will only hold one training session for the whole group – training begins at 5:15pm. You will NOT be allowed to throw an axe if you miss the training.
You may bring your own food and drinks to Houston Axe, including alcohol, however, glass bottles and hard liquor are NOT permitted. Please review the info below and complete the waiver ahead of time, at https://mhnixdwr.paperform.co/, to expedite the sign-in process at the event. Registration ends at 12:00pm on Friday May 18th and can not be extended, due to payment deadlines with the venue.
Houston Axe recommends that you wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. Open toed shoes will NOT be permitted. Flannel shirts will receive a high-five from your instructor! You will NOT be admitted if intoxicated, and will NOT be refunded. All participants must bring a valid photo ID that can verify their age, to be admitted into the facility. If you enjoy your time with your “Axepert” please feel free to leave a tip, however, tipping is not required.
